What is Hogwarts?
Hogwarts School of Witchcraft and Wizardry is the main setting in J.K Rowling's Harry Potter series. Hogwarts is a place where young witches and wizards come to learn magic. Courses include Astronomy, Charms, Defense Against the Dark Arts, Flying (first years only), Herbology, History of Magic, Potions, and Transfiguration. Electives for third years and older include Alchemy (Sixth and seventh years, if demand is sufficient), Apparition (Sixth and seventh year, those of age only), Arithmancy, Care of Magical Creatures, Divination, and Study of Ancient Runes. Extra curricular activities are Ancient Studies, Art, Frog Choir, Ghoul Studies, Magical Theory, Muggle Art, Music, Muggle Music, Orchestra, Xylomancy
